1.  The school started with a bang as the  students of Class X & XII gave 100% results in the Board Examinations.

 2.   It was an honour for the School when the Principal got the award from ECA [Early Childhood Association] for his exemplary contribution to Education on Teacher’s Day.

3.   The students of the school had the opportunity of meeting with the President of India and tying the Rakhi on Rakshabandan Day. They were accompanied by two teachers Ms. Roopali Hamilton and Ms. Jaishree Shreedharan.

 4.  The students had the opportunity to perform on Shahidi Diwas in front of Delhi Chief Minister and also the students of Class IX and X got the opportunity to see the live session of Vidhan Sabha.

 5.  The school started with the trend of hosting / setting the exhibition on the PTM Day. An exhibition on Moral Values , Personality Development, Art & Craft. Multi-disciplinary Project and Hindi Exhibition were show cased. The Parents were overwhelmed by such initiative taken by the school. The Principal of the school appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the students.

 6.  An educational trip was organized by HT & Times of India to Gandhi Smrti, Traffic Park, A heritage walk to Humayun’s  Tomb and Parliament Museum. The Students of Class XII (Bio Stream) were taken to ICGEB – Indian council of genetic engineering and biotechnology. They were accompanied by Ms. Yogyata Mathur  and Ms.Vidyadhari.

 7.   Mother’s Meet was organized for all the wings wherein  the problems of the students were discussed at great length and the solutions were given by all the academic in-charges Ms. Renu Gupta, Ms. Sarita Vaidya and Ms. Yogyata Mathur. A short video clip was also shown to signify the importance of Mothers.

 8.  Apart from the English literary club, Eco club, Astronomy club, the school formed the computer club (Cybertronix) which would be headed by Ms. Poonam Makhija. The initiative was taken by Computer Science Strean students.

 9.  In the Paridhi Project organized, by the ‘SPACE’ at Qutub Minar the earth’s circumference’s reading of 5 students our school was almost accurate. Two students of Astronomy club along with one teacher, attended a meet at American Centre which was in collaboration with NASA & SPACE and the students of Astronomy Club went to Rajasthan [Sariska] Astro-Port where they observed the Milky Way and other planets along with the Astronomy Club In-charge Dr. Sonali Ganguli.

 10.  The students brought laurels in the interschool competitions. In DAV school Protush Das bagged the first prize in the drawing competition, and in Dance they got the consolation prize. The students actively participated in the computer activities also.  It was a great moment for the school when the students Kritharth Tripati (X-E), Rahul Unnithan (X-B) and Aman Mahendirata  (XI-E) bagged the first prize in the extempore and debate competition held at St. Joseph’s Academy on the occasion of their Ruby Jubilee celebrations .

 11.   The fun could be seen in the air of Greenways when the students of Classes I to VIII went to Kidzania and did the fun-filled activities. Class IX went to Worlds of Wonder. It was dream come true for Class X and XI when they went to Kingdom of Dreams.

A. In the International Net Ball Tournament

a. Our School team secured the First Position in the Inter-Zonal Net Ball Tournament in the Under-19 Boys Category. The team consisted of Lalit Sharma, Abhir Mahajan, Achintya Mishra, Shivam Singh, Diwaker Singh, Jitin Nambiar, Vaibhav Choudhary and  Shivanshu Kaushik

 b.  Our School team secured the First Position in Inter-Zonal Net Ball Tournament in the U-17 Boys Category.  The members were Akshat Singh Negi, Yugansh Rawat, Nikhil Panwar, Mayur Puri, Devanshu Khokher, Himanshu Shukla, Bhavishya Narang, Rohan Sharma and Mohd Yahya

 B.  In the C.B.S.E Central Zone Taekwondo Championship

a.  under – 14 Girls,  Khushi Joshi of Class VIII won the Gold in the 45kg category.

 b.  under – 14 Girls,  Priyanshi Jain of Class IV won the Bronze in the below 30kg category.

C.  C.B.S.E National Taekwondo Championship organized by Happy Model School, Varanasi from 16.12.2016 to 20.12.2016 under – 14 Girls, Khushi Joshi of Class VIII won the Third Position in the below 45 kg category.

 D. Greenwanians represented Delhi State in the 62ND  National School Games 2016 – 2017 in Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh in the  Field Archery Under – 14 Girls,  Nimisha Kasana of Class VIII won the Silver Medal.

 E.  In the 62ND  National School Games 2016 – 2017 in Mahabubnagar, Telangana in the Net Ball Under – 14 Boys, Kashav Verma of Class VIII won Silver Medal, Yugul Rawat of Class VIII won Silver Medal and Pranav C. Ramesh Class VIII also won Silver Medal.

 F. In the 62ND  National School Games 2016 – 2017 in Ropar, Punjab in the Net Ball Junior Under – 17 Boys,  Divanshu of Class X won the Silver Medal, Mohd Yahya of Class X with the Silver Medal and Vaibhav Choudhary of Class X also won the Silver Medal. Sakshi Sharma of Class IX won the Bronze Medal under Girls category.

The Boys and Girls [Senior] played friendly matches of Volley Ball and Basket Ball in American School and British School.

 14.    Science Exhibition : The students Protush Das (IX A) and Tarni Garg (X B) represented in State Level Science Exhibition (SUPW Category) and Avantika of Class XI A represented her model ‘Dew Drop Harvesting’ in the Model Category of Science.

 15.   Apart from these the school celebrated all the important festivals, days and also organized workshop from time to time for teachers and students. The students also actively participated in all the celebrations organized by the CBSE/ Govt. of India and won prizes.

    Painting Competition

    The School organised a painting competition on 16th and 17th January 2017 in connection with Republic Day Celebrations-2017, under the instrucations of Ministry of HRD through Central Board of Secondary Education. The best paintings of our school were made by Prottush Das (IX-A), Tarini Garg (X-B), Abhiram S Variar (VI-C), Sameeksha (IX-B).
