To observe World No Tobacco Day, various awareness activities were conducted for students of Classes VI to XII in accordance with the Directorate of Education guidelines. The objective was to educate students about the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine use and to encourage them to adopt a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle.
Students enthusiastically participated in activities such as bookmark making, poster making, slogan writing, essay writing, speech delivery, infographic design, article writing, digital awareness campaigns, and short video creation. The Anti-Tobacco Pledge was also administered to students, reinforcing their commitment to stay away from tobacco and to spread awareness among their families and communities.
Through these activities, students gained valuable knowledge about the health risks associated with tobacco consumption and the importance of making informed, healthy choices. The observance successfully promoted the message: "Say No to Tobacco Today for a Healthier Tomorrow."
