On 24th March, 2023, Greenway Modern School conducted  Orientation Programme for its new parents and students.  The Programme was conducted in two innings, one for Pre Primary Wing and the other for Primary, Middle and Senior Wing Parents. 

The Orientation Programme was graced by the Vice Principal of the school,  Mr Tarun Sachdeva who addressed the gathering with his wise thoughts and valuable advice and steered the session felicitously. 

All the Academic in charges of the respective wings followed by the Examination in charge and the Activity in charge of the school detailed their concerned curriculum to the Parents and introduced them the code of conduct of the school. The occasion was also adorned by dainty and dazzling dance performances of the school students. The sessions educated and edified the parents about each and everything they would need to know about the school to strengthen the Parent- School bond that would greatly assist in building the future of the students.

A workshop was organized by Greenway Modern School on 23^rd March 2023 by HT resource person Mr Lucky Puchhrat on Learning outcomes and pedagogies. “A minor difference in ability results a major difference in outcome.”  

Mr Lucky focused on being clear with goals of success. He gave stress on learning. Keep learning, growing and evolving. He began by explaining the importance of our work, profession and the reason of being in our profession. He explained the Flow of the session.  He then explained about met cognition, organic unity and its factors and effective  communication skills.  

This workshop taught us to change our wrong belief and add on in our knowledge. Willingness to learn leads willingness to change.  The workshop greatly expanded our understanding of mindfulness and gave a great understanding of how it can be used & taught to develop students’ self-awareness/self- management skills. This workshop was beautifully executed to bring together research & practice. He summed up with a beautiful line “Teaching is a profession that creates all other professions.”  Overall it was an a wonderful session. The session was concluded with vote of thanks by our school Activity Coordinator.
