Greenwanians Rocked once again and brought laurels by winning OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY in Sports, DISTRICT NORTH EAST ZONE 6 session 2022-23. The boys and the girls team participated in Seniors, Juniors, Sub-juniors, Badminton, Chess, Basketball, Handball,  Volley ball, Throw ball & Table-tennis. The school also hosted Basket ball, Chess, Throw ball, Table-Tennis & Handball matches in school premises.

The school team won in Zonal giving tough competitions and reached Inter-Zonal (Delhi State), near about 20 schools participated in the events. A  proud  moment for the school. The Principal of the school congratulated the participants and the P.ETs  Mr. Mukesh  Sharma, Ms. Silky,  Ms. Geeta Sharma, Ms. Nupur, Mr. Sandeep & Mr. Rohit for their vigorous training and commendable hard work.

A two day workshop on ‘ Capacity Building Programme’ was organised by CBSE in collaboration with Greenway Modern School on 6th & 7th February 2023 for teacher’s training.

A total of 20 schools participated in the workshop.

It was a very learn full experience for everyone.

The workshop was led by Ms Vandana  Banga. 

Day 1 of Capacity Building Program was on Effective Teaching of Science at the Secondary Level through CBSE.  A day was full of fun, activities, challenges, discussions and learning. 

And on DAY 2 of Capacity Building Program on Effective Teaching of Science at the Secondary Level through CBSE, All the participants presented wonderful low cost science demonstrations, prepared excellent lesson plans and participated enthusiastically in all the discussions to make this workshop memorable for all.

On 1 February 2022, an online exchange programme was held between Greenway Modern School and St. Petersburg, school no. 349. This time, the students of Greenway presented about Republic Day in India, through the help of PPTs and videos. Students also told the Russians about unity in diversity in India, on how the things are so diverse in India, for instance the food, clothes, religions, languages and many more, and yet we still live together harmoniously as Indians. The students also showed them this year’s republic day celebrations with the help of a really wonderful video. It was a really interactive session as the students from Russia also asked about many things related to our culture and republic day.  It was a really fun and informative session for everyone present.

Ms. Sana Khan, Ms. Shruti Barman and Ms. Jaishree Shreedharan are the teachers who were a part of this session.  The session ended with a thank you note by Mr Mangalam Dubey and Ms. Jaishree Shreedharan.

An enriching CUET Workshop was organized by Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden by Hindustan Times. Commerce and Humanities students of class 11 participated in the workshop. This workshop was organized with the objective of career counseling and carving a path for the desired destination. Chief speaker was Mr  Siddharth. The speaker first engaged students in discussion about the need for CUET , then proceeded with its benefits for all students. He gave comprehensive information about the Common University Entrance Test including subjects, sections and languages to be studied. He further elaborated the right time for its preparation as well as how to prepare for it. All the students became acquainted with new courses and colleges after 12th which would prove to be  very fruitful for them. Overall, this was a knowledgeable and an enthusiastic seminar and the school would look forward for organizing more such workshops.
