AWARENESS PROGRAM - PERSONAL HYGIENE  

Greenway Modern School organized an Awareness Programme, for Senior Class girls, by renowned company. They were sensitized about the cleanliness, personal hygiene and how can they look beautiful – A question answer session was followed and they were awarded with the headphone winners.

AWARENESS PROGRAM

Greenway Modern School organized a special assembly to make the students aware about the precautions to be taken in case of any kind of calamity. They were told about the various emergency numbers and also how to move after the school is over. An execution plan was explained in detail for the movement from one floor to another. Ms Silky and Ms Geeta demonstrated the use of FIRE EXTINGUISHER in case of fire calamity.  It was an informative session.

SCHOLARS DAY MIDDLE WING

‘No Great Achievement is possible without Persistent Work’

On 19th November 2019, Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden organized the Scholars’ Day of middle and senior wing to celebrate academic excellence of its laudable and meritorious students. The occasion was graced by DCP Amit Sharma (Shahdara), Joint Secretary CBSE Mr. Navin Maini and SHO Seemapuri Mr. Harish Kumar. The occasion started with the lamp lightning followed by the welcome dance. The seasoned artists of the school enthralled the audience with a very mellifluous solo song by Nikita of class XII and a group song presentation.

The fusion of Bharatnatyam and Kathak mesmerized every one present in the audience.Greenway Modern School is also bestowed with the British Council Award and for the award ceremony of the same, the versatile students of Greenway prepared a stupendous performance that bedazzled the stage and enraptured the audience. In the end, the Principal, Mr Mohit Sachdeva spoke about the school’s commitment to excellence and complimented the students who have made their mark in scholastic and co-scholastic arenas.

EKTA DIWAS

The Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Patel, which is being observed as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, which gives us an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength, was celebrated at Greenway Modern School, and the following activities were done.

  • A pledge was taken to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
  • Unity run, March past by the NCC cadets was also organized.

In addition to above, Essay writing and various other activities were also done.

INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH PRINCIPAL SIR FOR CLASSES X & XII 
‘A Fresh Start’ (The first day of the session 2019-20)
 


On April 3 2019, Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden started its new academic session for the year 2019-20.The Principal of the school, Mr Mohit Sachdeva, addressed the students in the assembly by welcoming the students and inspiring them with his motivational thoughts. He also encouraged the students to keep working hard throughout the session and participate in the activities and show the best results. The students were euphoric and exhilarated to have a new start and they also got inspired by the words of the principal. An interactive session for the students of class X and XII was organized by the school wherein the students were introduced to the CBSE curriculum and guidelines by the Principal of the school.  

 

 

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION - 2018 (SENIOR)

On 16 October 2018, Greenway Modern School organized a grand Dussehra function wherein spectacular presentation of a soul touching Bhajan and an energising dance were performed by the students .The Bhajan was melodious, soothing and heart touching which lighted the spark of devotion towards God within the students and made the occasion divine.

The dance presentation of the talented students of the Greenway Modern School mesmerized the spectators and left a remarkable spot on their hearts. The presentation depicted the victory of Good over Evil. An informative speech on the relevance and traditional beliefs of the festival was delivered by a student of the school.

The occasion recalled the world famous mythological story of triumph of Good over Evil.

At the last, the assembly was addressed by the Activity Incharge of the school, Ms. Jaishree  who praised the  efforts of the Teachers,  In-charges and the students as well. Click here to view more photographs.


BAISAKHI CELEBRATION-
13.04.2018



         Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal by all the three wings Primary, Middle and Seniors in the Assembly, wherein the students threw light on the importance of Baisakhi along with that how the festival is celebrated in different parts of the country.
