The school celebrated World Heritage Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from all wings. The Inter-House competitions added vibrancy to the event, with the Primary Wing presenting a colourful Traditional Dress Parade, the Middle Wing showcasing creativity through Heritage Model Making, and the Senior Wing expressing ideas via Poster Making on “My Heritage, My Pride.”

Class-wise activities further engaged students, ranging from creative crafts and storytelling in the junior classes to discussions, writing tasks, and innovative presentations in the senior classes. The celebration successfully encouraged students to appreciate and preserve our rich cultural heritage.

    An ATL Orientation Session was successfully conducted at Greenway Modern School on 08 April 2026 for students of classes 4th to 8th.

    The session was led by resource persons from STEMROBO Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Subrat Mishra and Mr. Harsh Satija, who introduced students to the exciting world of innovation and technology.

    The orientation provided students with a hands-on learning experience, where they explored various DIY kits and gained a foundational understanding of Robotics, STEM, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The session also highlighted the importance of ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) and familiarized students with the tools and equipment available in the lab.

    Students actively participated in the activities and showed great enthusiasm throughout the session. It was an engaging and enriching experience that gave them valuable insights into practical learning and innovation happening within the ATL lab.

    Overall, the session was highly successful and left students motivated to explore, create, and innovate.

      The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the Primary and Middle Wing of our school on 13th April 2026. The celebration aimed to highlight the cultural richness of Punjab, also remembering important historical events and personalities associated with the day.

      The program commenced with a welcome speech by the student, followed by an informative speech explaining the significance of Baisakhi as a harvest festival and its importance in Sikh history. The students also spoke about the tragic Jallianwala Bagh massacre, sensitively highlighting its historical importance and the sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle.

      The celebration also marked Ambedkar Jayanti, paying tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Student delivered a short speech on his life, emphasizing his contributions towards equality, justice, and the making of the Indian Constitution.

      Adding melody to the event, the school choir group presented a beautiful song celebrating unity, joy, and cultural diversity. Their harmonious performance created a soothing and uplifting atmosphere.

      The highlight of the celebration was the vibrant dance performances by students of both wings. Dressed in colourful traditional attire, they performed energetic Bhangra and Gidda, showcasing the spirit and joy of the harvest festival. Their lively expressions and synchronized movements were highly appreciated by the audience.

      The program concluded with a motivating speech by the school coordinator Ms Anuja Jaitly, who applauded the efforts of the students and teachers. The speech encouraged students to uphold values of unity, hard work, and respect for all.

      The celebration ended with a vote of thanks by our activity coordinator Ms Jaishree Shreedaran, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, joy, and cultural awareness. It was indeed a memorable and meaningful experience for all.

        Baisakhi Celebration

        Baisakhi is a joyful and colorful festival celebrated with great enthusiasm, especially in northern India. It marks the harvest season and is an important festival in Sikh culture. In Greenway Nursery School, the celebration of Baisakhi was full of fun, learning, and excitement.The school was beautifully decorated creating a cheerful atmosphere. All the children came dressed in yellow-colored clothes, symbolizing happiness, prosperity, and the harvest season. Their bright outfits made the celebration even more vibrant.The program began with a simple introduction to Baisakhi, where teachers explained its importance in an easy and interesting way. The children enjoyed learning about farmers and how they celebrate the harvest with joy and gratitude.One of the most enjoyable activities was fingerprinting on corn. The children used their tiny fingers and colors to create beautiful corn patterns, which helped them understand the harvest theme in a fun and creative way. They were very excited and actively participated in the activity.The celebration also included music and dance. The little ones danced on lively Punjabi songs, spreading happiness all around. Their energy and enthusiasm made the event truly special.Overall, the Baisakhi celebration was a wonderful experience for the children. It not only brought smiles and laughter but also helped them learn about our culture and traditions in a fun and engaging way.

          Greenway Modern School celebrated World Health Day with enthusiasm, focusing on the theme “Clean Air, Healthy Life.” The initiative aimed to create awareness about the importance of air quality and its impact on human health.

          Students across all grades participated in engaging activities. The Primary Wing explored “Air Around Me” through poster making and DIY air filter models. The Middle Wing presented role plays on topics like asthma, smog, and vehicle pollution, highlighting health concerns. The Secondary Wing took part in a group discussion on Delhi smog and a poster-slogan competition on prevention and policy awareness. The Senior Secondary students engaged in a debate on whether individual actions alone can control air pollution.
          The celebration was a meaningful step towards sensitizing students about environmental responsibility and promoting the idea that clean air is essential for a healthy life.
