A workshop on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was conducted by Project CACA for all the teachers. The session focused on creating awareness about child safety, understanding the provisions of the POCSO Act, recognising signs of abuse, and the legal responsibility of every adult in ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

Following the teachers' session, a separate awareness programme was organised for the fourth-grade staff. During this session, the participants were shown the "Komal" awareness film, which sensitised them to the importance of identifying and reporting any suspected case of child abuse without delay. They were reminded that, as support staff often interact closely with children and are among the first adults to notice changes in a child's behaviour, they play a vital role in child protection. They were encouraged not to hesitate in reporting any concern and were informed about the importance of timely action in safeguarding every child.

The workshop served as a meaningful step towards strengthening awareness, vigilance, and collective responsibility in creating a safe and secure environment for all students.
