During the session, students were given a live demonstration on using a fire extinguisher through the PASS technique and were briefed on key safety measures such as wrapping a blanket to protect themselves, crawling low under smoke, and following orderly evacuation routes. With all teachers present, the interactive drill helped students grasp the importance of staying calm and responding quickly during emergencies. Greenway Modern School celebrated Mother’s Day on Friday, 08 May 2026 with great enthusiasm and emotional fervour. Students from Classes I to XII participated wholeheartedly in a variety of creative and meaningful activities designed to express love and gratitude towards their mothers.

The day witnessed vibrant participation in activities such as bouquet making, gratitude jars, scrapbook designing, poster making, collage making, lantern crafting, and pop-up card designing. The school campus was filled with joy, creativity, and heartfelt emotions, making the celebration truly memorable for students and teachers alike.

Adding to the celebration, HT PACE, in collaboration with NPS Vatsalya, launched a special Mother’s Day initiative for students. As part of this initiative, greeting cards were delivered to the school in the morning on 8th May 2026. Teachers guided students in writing heartfelt messages for their mothers on these cards.

Students of Class V also actively participated in the HT PACE activity. They designed the greeting cards with great care and penned touching messages for their mothers under the guidance of their class teachers.

For participation in the HT PACE contest, students were required to upload two pictures by scanning the provided QR code:
    1. A picture of the greeting card designed by them.
    2. A selfie of them presenting the greeting card to their mothers.

A total of 100 lucky winners from all valid entries will be shortlisted and awarded special souvenirs by Team HT.

The combined school activities and the HT PACE initiative provided students a beautiful platform to convey their emotions and strengthen the bond with their mothers. The celebration concluded on a joyful and touching note, leaving lasting memories for all.

During the address, the Principal highlighted the importance of the Student Council in upholding school values and maintaining discipline, and urged all newly appointed members to perform their duties with sincerity and work for the benefit of the school. The revised structure is expected to bring fresh ideas to school events and provide wider representation to students in co-curricular leadership.
