Class XII Psychology Internship

Class XII Psychology Internship – One-Week Learning Experience (8 June – 13 June)

The Class XII Psychology students successfully completed a one-week internship from 8 June to 13 June, which provided them with an excellent opportunity to bridge classroom learning with practical exposure in the field of mental health. Throughout the week, students attended interactive sessions conducted by experienced mental health professionals, gaining valuable insights into the importance of psychological well-being and its role in everyday life.

During the internship, students learned about various psychological disorders, their signs and symptoms, causes, and the importance of timely identification and intervention. They were also introduced to different psychological assessments and diagnostic tools used by psychologists to evaluate intelligence, personality, behaviour, aptitude, and mental health conditions. Through case discussions, demonstrations, and practical examples, students developed a better understanding of how these assessments are administered and interpreted in professional settings.

The internship also emphasized ethics in psychological practice, effective communication, empathy, and the responsibilities of mental health professionals. The sessions encouraged students to think critically, ask questions, and relate their theoretical knowledge to real-life situations.

Overall, the one-week internship was a highly enriching and transformative learning experience. It broadened the students’ understanding of psychology as a discipline, enhanced their awareness of mental health, and inspired many to explore careers in psychology, counselling, and related fields.

On 13.7.2026 our school had the privilege of hosting a Road Safety Awareness Program conducted by the Delhi Traffic Police. We were honored to have traffic personnel who  visited our campus to educate our students on the vital importance of road safety.

Using a mobile van as an interactive learning tool, the team effectively explained essential road safety rules, measures to be taken while crossing roads, and the significance of wearing helmets. They also emphasized the importance of using zebra crossings and other safety measures. The session was highly engaging, informative, and enjoyable for our students, especially of class 11 & 12 who actively participated and absorbed the valuable lessons shared. Our school community is grateful to the Delhi Traffic Police for imparting this crucial knowledge to our students.

We sincerely thank the Delhi Traffic Police team for their efforts in promoting road safety awareness among our students.

      Table Manners Activity – Pre-Primary

Good habits begin at the dining table! Pre-Primary students of Greenway Nursery School participated in an engaging Table Manners Activity aimed at developing proper dining etiquette and healthy eating habits from an early age.

To make the learning meaningful and enjoyable, the teachers demonstrated both good manners and bad manners at the dining table. Through these role-plays, children easily understood the difference between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour while eating. They learned the importance of washing their hands before and after meals, sitting properly at the table, using polite words like “Please,” “Thank You,” and “Excuse Me,” chewing with their mouths closed, eating neatly without wasting food, and keeping the dining area clean. They were also encouraged to share, wait patiently for their turn, and respect others during mealtime.

The interactive demonstration and hands-on learning made the activity enjoyable and memorable. It helped children understand that good table manners reflect respect, responsibility, and consideration for others—valuable life skills that will stay with them as they grow.
