The Nursery wing of Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden, celebrates each festival with great pomp and show. The students of Pre School and Pre Primary celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm on 30th September 2022. According to our culture ‘RavanaDahan’ is a very important part of this celebration. A big effigy of Ravana was made by the Art teacher in school and one bad habit was written on each head of Ravana. Students were also asked to write one bad habit of theirs on a piece of paper and burn it with the effigy of Ravana. Children were told that Dussehra signifies victory of good over evil.
The event was a learning experience for all and enriched the young ones about our heritage and culture.
