Teachers’ Day Celebration
Teachers’ Day was celebrated with warmth and gratitude, honouring the teachers whose dedication extends far beyond the classroom.
The celebration began at the school entrance, where the school Council members and a group of Class XII students welcomed the teachers with heartfelt gestures, setting a joyful and respectful tone for the day.
A special Teachers’ Day Assembly was then presented by the students of class XII. Through a thoughtful depiction of a teacher’s life both within and beyond the classroom, the students portrayed the responsibilities, challenges, patience and countless roles that teachers undertake every day. The presentation beautifully reminded everyone that teaching is not merely a profession, but a commitment that often continues beyond school hours and academic duties.
The celebrations continued in the classrooms with a series of creative Teachers’ Day activities for Classes I–X. Students expressed their appreciation through flower crafts, superhero portraits, bookmarks, portraits, gratitude collages, mandalas, pop-up cards, upcycling art, visual compositions and comic strips depicting a day in the life of a teacher.
The day thus became a meaningful celebration of the teacher-student bond, appreciation and the many unseen contributions of educators.
