Dyslexia Awareness Month
October is observed as Dyslexia Awareness Month and our school celebrated it with the aim of creating awareness and fostering understanding about dyslexia, a specific learning difficulty that affects the way individuals read, write and process language.
The initiative focused on sensitising students to the challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia and highlighting the importance of early identification, empathy, inclusion and appropriate support. Through awareness activities and student participation, the school encouraged learners to move beyond misconceptions and recognise that every child learns differently.
The observance reinforced the message that dyslexia does not define a child’s intelligence or potential. With the right guidance, encouragement and inclusive learning environment, every learner can thrive.
At Greenway Modern School, we believe that every mind is unique, every learner deserves to be understood and every child has the potential to shine
