The following activities were held during the month of April – May 2017.
PRIMARY WING ;
Classes I and
II celebrated “Healthy Food Day” to make the students aware about the
importance of health and the food which they can have in their day to day life.
A “Show and
Tell” activity wherein the students were showed a picture and described the
story related to the picture and learnt to express their views and give words
to their thoughts
An inter-section
“Rhyme Competition” and “Writing Competition” was held to inculcate the
student’s interest in English language
and add creativity to the ‘lingua franca‘.
“ A tribute to
Mother’… a skit was presented in the special assembly to pay regards to mothers
and also inscribe moral values in the students.
To make the
students aware about the country’s heritage, a skit presentation was organized
by Classes III to V on the occasion of ‘World Heritage Day”.
To save our
Mother Earth, a 3 – D poster making competition was held for classes III to V.
To explore the
chef within a ‘Little chef’ competition was held for classes I to V where the
students experimented with their culinary skills.
MIDDLE WING :
To inculcate
their reading habits, the middle wing organized a “Inter-House News Paper
Reading competition”.
To make the
students aware about the health, heritage and ‘Earth Day’, a poster making
competition was organized, wherein the middle wing students depicted their
thoughts to save health, heritage and earth.
SENIOR WING :
A cultural
walk on the eve of “Baisakhi’ was organized
by the Senior Wing wherein the students depicted the importance of
Baisakhi in the form of Dance and Drama.
‘World Dance
Day’ was celebrated wherein various forms of dances from Indian to Western were
highlighted.
WORKSHOPS
v
A Workshop on adolescent issues and classroom
management was organized for the teachers by NIE. The workshop was conducted by
Mrs. Jayshree Mehta.
v
A workshop for parents of the primary, middle and
senior wing students was organized to discuss issues like Child Management by
Mrs. Geetanjali Kumar.
v
Three teachers of our school, Ms. Yogyata Mathur,
Ms. Renu Gupta and Ms. Anubhuti Mehta, attended the workshop conducted by CBSE
on classroom management and gender sensitivity.
v
A workshop on gender sensitivity was organized for
the students and the speaker was none other than Civil Judge. Mr. Prashant
Sharma, from Karkardooma Court.
v
An awareness program by “Horlicks’ was done for
classed Nursery to VII.
v
An awareness program by ‘Chevrolet’ was organized
to make the students aware about the importance of the Seat Belt for Classes IV
and V.

A month long NSD workshop from May 18th
to June 18th is organized in school.

Students got an exposure at the Education Summit
Orgainzed by Uniagents. Pranav of Class
X C got the opportunity in the VIP Panel List of the Summit.
VISITS
v
The students of Class XII went for an educational visit to the UPSC
museum.
v
The students of Class XII had a gala time at
Kingdom of Dreams.
SPORTS
v
The students played a friendly match of badminton
at American School.
v
A proud moment for the school was when Khushi Joshi
of Class IX C was selected in the Indian Team of Second Asian Cadet Kyaruji
Taekwondo Championship to be held in Vietnam from 6th to 8th
June, 2017
ZONALS
The students who won laurels in the Zonal and Inter-District level in
the field of debate, extempore, nukkad natak, recitation etc. were awarded by
the School Principal – Mr. Mohit Sachdeva and Senior Coordinator - Mrs. Yogyata
Mathur.
AWARDS :

[PGT Accounts], for winning the award of the ’Best Teacher’ in Delhi Zone for the SOF –International Company
Secretaries Olympiad for 2016 – 2017”
