On 30th June 2025, Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School (GMS) organized an enriching workshop on De Bono’s Principles, with celebrated psychologist, author, and trainer Ms. Neha Wahi as the guest speaker. The session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students and teachers from all branches of Greenway Modern School, making it a truly collaborative and insightful event.
Ms. Wahi, known for her impactful delivery and expertise in soft skills, personality development, and behavioural training, conducted the session on Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats – a unique framework that encourages structured and holistic thinking.
She guided the participants through each “hat”:

White Hat – Focusing on facts, data, and information-based thinking

Red Hat – Acknowledging emotions, feelings, and intuition

Black Hat – Identifying risks, obstacles, and critical judgment

Yellow Hat – Highlighting positivity, benefits, and optimism

Green Hat – Encouraging creativity, new ideas, and alternatives

Blue Hat – Organizing thoughts and managing the overall process of thinking

Through interactive activities, relatable classroom scenarios, and student involvement, Ms. Wahi made each concept easily understandable and applicable in both academic and real-life situations.


The workshop not only enhanced the creative and analytical thinking of participants but also equipped teachers with a practical tool to make classroom discussions more meaningful and inclusive. The school was honoured to host Ms. Neha Wahi and thanks her for her valuable contribution to the learning community at GMS.

    Greenway Modern School Hosts Inspiring NSD Workshop & Culmination Program

    On June 22nd, Greenway Modern School proudly hosted the culmination program for the 8th year of a highly engaging workshop conducted by the National School of Drama (NSD). This event marked the conclusion of an enriching series of sessions aimed at nurturing the artistic talents of students from both Greenway Modern School and various other schools across Delhi.

    The program presented with an array of captivating skits performed by the participating students. These skits vividly depicted the day to day issues and had a great moral understanding for viewers. The young actors showcased their impressive acting skills, leaving the audience deeply moved by their performances. Adding a unique cultural touch to the event, the students also performed a mesmerizing bird dance. The dance not only entertained but also conveyed a powerful message about the importance of preserving our environment and protecting wildlife. An instrumental performance followed, featuring a variety of musical pieces that resonated with the theme of nature and freedom. The students demonstrated their musical prowess, playing instruments with precision and passion. The harmonious melodies created an atmosphere of tranquility and reflection, further enhancing the overall impact of the event. The culmination program concluded with a heartfelt ceremony where all participating students were awarded certificates of appreciation. These certificates recognized their hard work, dedication, and the remarkable skills they had developed during the NSD workshop. The event was a testament to the collaborative efforts of the students and the guidance of their mentors from the National School of Drama.

    Parents, teachers, and guests in attendance applauded the students for their exceptional performances and the valuable lessons conveyed through their art. The workshop and its culmination program not only provided a platform for artistic expression but also fostered a sense of community among students from different schools.

      Our school organized a series of events and activities to promote the practice and importance of yoga among students. The celebrations included:

      Class-wise Activities:
      - Class 1 & 2: Practiced Sukhasana and Vajrasana, wrote paragraphs on "Why I Like Doing Yoga," and participated in slogan writing.
      - Class 3 to 5: Practiced Padmasana and Balasana, wrote paragraphs on "Yoga and My Health," and participated in slogan writing.
      - Class 6 to 8: Practiced Tadasana and Vrikshasana, wrote paragraphs on "Importance of Yoga in Daily Life," and participated in slogan writing.
      - Class 9 & 10: Practiced Bhujangasana, Paschimottanasana, and Sarvangasana, wrote paragraphs on "Yoga: A Natural Way to Good Health," and participated in slogan writing.
      - Class 11 & 12: Practiced Halasana and Trikonasana, wrote paragraphs on "Yoga: A Holistic Path to Wellness," and participated in slogan
      - Yoga Quiz: A quiz was conducted to test students' knowledge about yoga.
      - NCC Cadets: Demonstrated their skills by performing yoga asanas during the celebrations.


      The celebrations were a great success, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the practice of yoga among students and staff. The Principal commended the efforts put forth by both students and teachers and encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

        To celebrate Father's Day and express gratitude towards fathers for their love, support, and guidance.

        Students from various classes of Greenway Modern School participated in different activities to honor their fathers:

        - Class 1-3: Created artwork, drawings, and handmade cards expressing love and appreciation for their fathers.
        - Class 4-6: Recorded audio/video messages, wrote letters, and created acrostic poems to thank their fathers.
        - Class 7-9: Made photo collages, wrote about life lessons learned from their fathers, and created video messages.
        - Class 10-12: Designed quote posters, conducted mini-interviews with their fathers, and wrote open letters or spoken-word poems.


        The activities helped students reflect on the importance of their fathers in their lives and express their gratitude in creative ways. The event fostered a sense of appreciation and love for fathers.

        Father's Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, and students showcased their creativity and gratitude towards their fathers. The event highlighted the significance of fatherly love and support in shaping the lives of children.

          To raise awareness about environmental conservation and promote sustainable practices among students, while celebrating World Environment Day and participating in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative the students of GREENWAY MODERN SCHOOL actively participated in various activities enthusiastically.

          - Class I: Students drew pictures of their favorite animals or plants and wrote a few lines on "I love nature."
          - Class II: Nature Hunt - Students collected and documented various natural items, such as leaves, flowers, and twigs, and gave them funny names.
          - Class III: Tree Collage - Students created 3D trees using recycled materials like paper, twigs, and dried leaves.
          - Class IV: Earth-Friendly Promises - Students made leaf cutouts and wrote eco-promises, such as "I will reduce, reuse, and recycle."
          - Class V: Eco-Friendly Crafts - Students created crafts using recyclable materials like buttons, newspapers, and old pens.
          - Class VI: Eco Awareness - Students interviewed helpers about environmental awareness and took notes.
          - Class VII: Eco Art & Poetry - Students wrote poems and created artwork on environmental themes, such as pollution and conservation.
          - Class VIII: Eco Heroes - Students researched nature warriors and their achievements.
          - Class IX: Sustainable Living Tips - Students researched and wrote speeches on sustainable practices.
          - Class X: Eco Challenge - Students took up eco-challenges, such as reducing plastic use, and maintained journals.
          - Class XI & XII: Our Environment, Our Policies - Students researched international environmental policies


          - Students created posters on environmental themes, such as climate change, conservation, and sustainability.
          - Students wrote slogans, such as "Save Earth, Save Future" and "Go Green, Breathe Clean.
          - Students planted trees in school and at home and uploaded photos on the official website.
          - Students received certificates for their participation in the initiative.
          - Raised awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable practices among students.
          - Encouraged students to take eco-friendly actions and develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
          - Fostered creativity and critical thinking through poster making, slogan writing, and eco-challenges.


          World Environment Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, promoting environmental awareness and action among students. The "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative was a huge success, with students actively participating and receiving certificates. The event highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.
