This high-profile event was a collaborative initiative between the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), The Times of India (PACE), and the Delhi Traffic Police, aimed at "Bridging the Gap: Connecting Road Awareness with Education."
The evening brought together school leaders, law enforcement, and industry experts to discuss the critical mission of fostering a culture of safety among Delhi’s youth. The dais featured a distinguished panel, including:
Ms. Vijayanta Arya, Additional Commissioner of Police – Traffic, Delhi Police (Guest of Honour).

The centerpiece of the event was the felicitation ceremony conducted by the Road Safety Department. Awards were presented to schools that demonstrated the most "innovative ideas" and "commendable efforts" in promoting road safety awareness throughout the 2025-26 academic year.
In a moment of immense pride, Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School, Dilshad Garden, was recognized as one of the top institutions in the capital. Out of all participating schools across Delhi, Greenway Modern School secured the Second Runner-Up position for the prestigious Best School Rolling Trophy.

Greenway Modern School has organized a comprehensive and engaging workshop in its school auditorium in collaboration with Go Sharpener to formally introduce and initiate activities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The session revolved around the powerful theme that sustainable development is the pathway to a future where prosperity and nature coexist in harmony. The workshop was effectively conducted by Ms. Preeti Futela and Ms. Himani Regni, who provided valuable insights and practical guidance.

The session commenced with a detailed explanation of the concept of sustainable development, highlighting its importance in today’s world and its direct relevance within the school environment. The speakers emphasized the role of educational institutions in shaping responsible citizens who are conscious of environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

Further, they introduced a well-structured implementation plan for SDG-based activities. The school will receive both monthly and yearly planners, ensuring a systematic and continuous approach toward achieving these goals. A specially designed booklet will also be provided, containing information about important global observance days such as World Water Day, Earth Day, and Biodiversity Day. This booklet will include the significance of each day along with suggested student-friendly activities and corresponding video resources to facilitate better understanding and participation.

In addition, the Go Sharpener digital portal was introduced, where students, teachers, and school management will be given unique login IDs. Students will be required to actively participate in activities conducted both at school and at home, record them, and upload their videos on the portal. This will help in tracking participation and encouraging consistent involvement.

The workshop concluded with an overview of the evaluation system, including a marksheet for students, ensuring recognition and accountability. Overall, the session was highly informative and set a clear roadmap for integrating sustainability into everyday school practices.
