The session was aimed at guiding parents on how to support their children in becoming more responsible, disciplined, and independent learners.

The school management emphasized the importance of regular diary checking, as it not only keeps parents updated about daily homework and instructions but also inculcates a sense of accountability in students. Parents were encouraged to let their children do their own work, so that they learn responsibility, problem-solving, and time management skills instead of becoming dependent.

The session also highlighted the significance of spending quality time with children. Parents were advised to be emotionally available, listen to their child’s concerns, and motivate them in both academics and co-curricular areas. The school believes that when parents and teachers work together, children gain confidence and develop holistically.

The interaction provided a healthy platform for parents to share their queries and receive practical suggestions from the management. The session concluded with a positive note, reaffirming the commitment of both school and parents towards the growth and well-being of the students.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration in Greenway Nursery School

The festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great excitement in our Greenway Nursery School . The celebration began with a short talk by the teachers on the importance of the festival and the special bond it represents. Girls lovingly tied beautiful rakhis on the wrists of the boys, while the boys expressed their affection by giving chocolates to the girls. The exchange was filled with smiles, laughter, and warmth. The activity not only created happy memories but also helped the children learn the values of love, care, and respect for one another. It was a joyful celebration that brought alive the true spirit of Raksha Bandhan in our little learners’ hearts.

Around 30 students and three teachers of Greenway Modern School had the honour of visiting our brave soldiers to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan. The event was filled with warmth, respect, and a deep sense of patriotism.

At the Venue we were welcomed with great discipline and hospitality by the soldiers. The environment reflected their dedication, punctuality, and unity, which inspired all of us. Our students tied rakhis to the soldiers, symbolising love, gratitude, and the promise of protection. The soldiers, in return, blessed the students and expressed their happiness in celebrating this special festival away from their families.

The interaction was heartwarming, as it allowed our students to understand the sacrifices made by our armed forces and the strength required to serve the nation selflessly. The smiles on their faces made us feel proud and grateful for their service.

This celebration was not just about tying rakhis—it was about building a bond of respect and appreciation between the young generation and our protectors. It was a day full of emotions, pride, and love for the country.

We returned with memories that will be cherished forever and with a renewed sense of respect for our Indian soldiers.

The Principal of the school appreciated the efforts for such an initiative towards the soldiers who are the protectors of our country.

                            DOLPHIN AWARENESS ACTIVITY

In alignment with CBSE’s directive and the Government of India’s Project Dolphin (launched on 15th August 2020), Greenwanians actively took part in spreading awareness about dolphin conservation through a series of impactful activities.

The initiative began with a Pledge Ceremony during the morning assembly, where students and teachers took a collective oath to protect and preserve dolphin habitats. Dolphin awareness videos were screened in junior classes, offering age-appropriate insights into the significance of riverine and marine dolphin species.

For wider participation, rallies were conducted within the school premises, with students carrying posters and raising slogans to emphasize the importance of biodiversity. Additionally, a painting competition was organized for Classes 6 to 8, where students gave powerful messages of marine life preservation through art.

These thoughtfully conducted events not only raised awareness but also encouraged students to become responsible and informed custodians of the environment.

We are delighted to share that our Class 10 students — Sai Santosh Pal, Tribhuvan Sanoria, Eden Jeromy, and Nandini — represented our school at the National Round of the STEM Innovation League, powered by STEMROBO Technologies.

Out of thousands of entries from across India, two projects by our students were selected for the Nationals, held at the Yamuna Sports Complex, Delhi. They showcased their innovation and were awarded Certificates of Appreciation and TROPHY by Mr. Anoop Gautam, Co-CEO of STEMROBO Technologies.

Additionally, 40 students visited the event and actively participated in activities like Hackathon, Codethon, explored AR/VR, and engaged with DIY innovation kits, making it a fun and inspiring learning experience.

Special thanks to Mrs. Sonali Ganguly (ATL In-charge), Mrs. Shruti (Computer Teacher), and Mr. Subrat Mishra (ATL Mentor) for their constant guidance.

Our Principal Sir Mr.Mohit Sachdeva congratulated all students and appreciated the entire team for their efforts and enthusiasm.
