The NCC Combined Annual Training Camp was held from Dec 21-30, 2025, at NCC Bhawan, Rohini, for the 2023-2024 batch. Our school's 17 NCC cadets, accompanied by Ms. Shruti, Care Taking Officer, NCC, attended the workshop.
The cadets learned valuable skills like discipline, self-hygiene, map reading, squad drills, and more. They even got hands-on experience with guns and rifles. Despite some tough training days, our cadets nailed it!
The trip was a mix of learning, fun, and making memories.

    An English Exhibition – Promoting Language Skill & Creative Expression

    An English Exhibition was successfully organised in our school on 30th December 2025 to promote language skills and creative expression among students. The exhibition showcased a wide range of activities such as story boards, book reviews, poems, posters, character sketches, word games and presentations based on famous literary works. Students participated enthusiastically and displayed their confidence in speaking, reading and writing English. Special corners were dedicated to grammar games, vocabulary building and role plays, which attracted great attention. The exhibits reflected originality, teamwork and a deep understanding of the language. Teachers guided the students at every stage, ensuring meaningful learning through activity-based methods.

    Parents and visitors appreciated the efforts and creativity of the students. Overall, the English Exhibition proved to be an enriching experience that enhanced communication skills and nurtured a love for the English language among students. Principal of the school appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and emphasized that many more exhibitions to be held in near the future

      Greenway Modern School organized  Nukkad Natak on “E-Waste and Sustainable Development” during the Parent–Teacher Meeting. The students delivered a meaningful performance that highlighted the harmful effects of e-waste on the environment and human health. Through simple yet powerful messages, they emphasized the need for responsible use, proper disposal, and recycling of electronic waste. The initiative was well received by parents and teachers and reflected the school’s commitment to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable values among students.

          Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School joyfully celebrated Christmas on 24.12.2025 with a series of meaningful and festive activities that spread the message of love, sharing and compassion. A special assembly was presented by the class IX students, beautifully depicting the Nativity Scene, followed by soulful Christmas carols that filled the campus with festive cheer.
          The celebration was graced by Vice Principal Mr. Tarun Sachdeva, who attended the assembly. He addressed the students and emphasized the importance of Education in shaping their lives and future, inspiring them to pursue learning with dedication and purpose.
          To encourage neat handwriting, the best handwriting Competition winners from grade VI-VIII were awarded in a graceful manner. As a part of the celebration, students also engaged in a social outreach initiative by distributing gifts and woollen clothes to NGO (NANHE PAKSHI and PANAM) fostering the value of kindness, empathy, generosity and bring a smile on their faces. The event concluded on a joyful and meaningful note, reinforcing the true spirit of Christmas.

              Picnic to Kiddtopia

              The Pre-School and Pre Primary students enjoyed a fun-filled and memorable picnic to Kiddtopia on 2nd December,2025. Excitement filled the air as the little ones arrived, eagerly looking forward to a day of play, exploration, and joyful learning. At Kiddtopia, the children engaged in a variety of activities designed to spark creativity and imagination. They enjoyed the soft-play zones, slides, ball pits, and interactive games. Each play station encouraged them to explore, share, and work together while having loads of fun. The cheerful environment, bright colors, and safe play structures made the experience both enjoyable and enriching. Teachers and staff guided the children throughout the visit, ensuring safety, comfort, and lots of encouragement. A healthy snack break added to the excitement as the children happily chatted about their favorite activities. Their laughter, energy, and smiling faces made the outing truly special. The picnic provided the young learners with a wonderful opportunity to develop social skills, build confidence, and create happy memories with their friends and teachers. It was undoubtedly a delightful day that the children will cherish for a long time.

                The District Disaster Management Authority, Shahdara, organized a District Level Poster/Painting Competition focusing on Disaster Risk Reduction and Social Awareness Themes. This initiative aimed to foster widespread awareness among students regarding disaster preparedness and underscore vital national and social themes.

                Students from classes 9th to 12th participated enthusiastically, crafting posters/paintings on themes such as:
                - Disaster Risk Reduction & Role of Youth (Earthquakes, Floods, Fires, Cyclones, Tsunamis, Air Pollution, etc.)
                - Vande Matram & Spirit of Patriotism
                - Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel
                - Nasha Mukt Delhi

                Through this, students deepened their understanding of disaster preparedness, national integration, and the imperative of a Drug-Free Society. The top three paintings, along with the participant list, were submitted to the District Office.

                The Principal extended commendation and congratulations to all participating students. The top performers were:

                3. Kavya Pillai (9th B)

                This event highlighted the students' creativity and commitment to societal causes.
