On 30th June 2025, Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School (GMS) organized an enriching workshop on De Bono’s Principles, with celebrated psychologist, author, and trainer Ms. Neha Wahi as the guest speaker. The session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students and teachers from all branches of Greenway Modern School, making it a truly collaborative and insightful event.
Ms. Wahi, known for her impactful delivery and expertise in soft skills, personality development, and behavioural training, conducted the session on Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats – a unique framework that encourages structured and holistic thinking.
She guided the participants through each “hat”:

White Hat – Focusing on facts, data, and information-based thinking

Red Hat – Acknowledging emotions, feelings, and intuition

Black Hat – Identifying risks, obstacles, and critical judgment

Yellow Hat – Highlighting positivity, benefits, and optimism

Green Hat – Encouraging creativity, new ideas, and alternatives

Blue Hat – Organizing thoughts and managing the overall process of thinking

Through interactive activities, relatable classroom scenarios, and student involvement, Ms. Wahi made each concept easily understandable and applicable in both academic and real-life situations.

The workshop not only enhanced the creative and analytical thinking of participants but also equipped teachers with a practical tool to make classroom discussions more meaningful and inclusive. The school was honoured to host Ms. Neha Wahi and thanks her for her valuable contribution to the learning community at GMS.
