Greenway Modern School celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a series of creative and meaningful activities during the Zero Period on 27th August 2026. Students across Classes I–XII participated enthusiastically in age-appropriate activities such as Rakhi colouring, flower craft, Rakhi designing, greeting card making, handprint art, non-fire cooking, letter writing, poster making, slogan writing, eco-friendly Rakhi making and the Giant Rakhi Challenge. The activities provided students with an opportunity to express their creativity while reflecting on the values of love, care, gratitude and togetherness.
Adding a special significance to the celebration, 33 girl students, accompanied by three teachers, visited our brave soldiers to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. The students tied Rakhis to the soldiers as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, respect and appreciation for their courage, dedication and service to the nation. The students also presented sweets, fruits and thoughtful gift hampers as tokens of their affection and respect.
The interaction with the soldiers was a memorable and enriching experience for the students. It helped them understand the deeper meaning of Raksha Bandhan and appreciate the spirit of service and responsibility towards the nation.
The celebration beautifully brought together creativity, compassion, gratitude and patriotism, making Raksha Bandhan a truly meaningful experience for our students.
