Celebrating the spirit Greenway Modern School conferred awards and cognizance to the meritorious students at the Scholar’s Day celebrated on 30th of January 2016.  The event was bifurcated in two parts wherein the Scholars of Primary were honoured in the first half and the second was reserved for the celebration of Senior Secondary celebrations.  The achievers were awarded trophies, medals and certificates in recognition of their accomplishments in academics, sports and a plethora of co-curricular activities.  The award distribution was interspersed with a melange’ of colourful cultural presentations which included a heart-warming dance drama about Dr. A.P.J Kalam and a thought provoking play concerned with women empowerment.  The chief guest for the first half Mr. Satoshi Kubo, the Second Secretary from Embassy of Japan and Cultural Officer, Mr. Arsiney Starkov, from Russian Centre of Culture and Science appreciated the programme and expressed keen inclination in strengthening the bonds of alliance and affinity among the three countries.

The chief guest for the second half, Mrs. Shovna Narayan, the well known dancer and proponent of Kathak graced the occasion and admired the endeavour of the school to propagate young learners explore their potentials and achieve success.  Vice Principal welcomed the eminent guest.  The Principal of the school expressed his delight and thankfulness to the honorable guests, Manager and Chairperson for their motivational presence and he appreciated the efforts of all who collaborated to render Motus-2016, a grand success.
