As per the circular issued by the Directorate of Education, an Awareness Drive titled "SPANDAN - A Heartbeat for Mental Health" was organized in the school premises on 9th October 2026 to celebrate World Mental Health Day. The objective of SPANDAN was to create awareness about mental well-being and to promote a healthy and positive mindset among students.

The drive commenced with all students and teachers taking a pledge to take care of their mental health and to be kind, supportive and empathetic towards others. Under SPANDAN, students actively participated in making posters on the theme "Mental Health is a Universal Human Right" and their vibrant and thought-provoking posters were displayed on the yellow display boards to spread awareness.

To give a practical experience of stress relief, a guided meditation session was conducted for inner peace and mindfulness, followed by a lively and energetic Zumba session to highlight the strong connection between physical and mental fitness.

The drive concluded with an informative awareness talk by the school counsellor on the importance of mental health, its common challenges and effective solutions such as maintaining a healthy lifestyle, adequate sleep, limiting screen time and open communication with parents and teachers.

The Awareness Drive SPANDAN was a grand success and created a lasting positive impact, and was highly appreciated by the Principal.
