To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Valentina Tereshkova’s pioneering space flight the Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi organized a Dance Contest “Space Fantasy”; wherein the students of Classes VI – VIII of Greenway Modern School, competed with renowned Schools and Dance Academics. The Dances were in the form of Classical, Folk etc. The Schools performances were appreciated by Ms. Tatiana Perova, Chairman of the cultural group, Russian Centre of Science & Culture, and the students were awarded with the appreciation certificate. The Principal of the school appreciated the efforts of the students.

Greenway Modern School celebrated Grandparents Day with enthusiasm and aplomb keeping in the glorious tradition of veneration and love for the elderly people who form the pillars of strength and support for their families; honouring them for their commendable support in preserving values and ethics in the modern society. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. Aroon Broota , the eminent psychologist and the Guest of Honour was famous and renowned Theatre and T.V. personality, Mrs. Kamlesh Shergill, who has received accolades for her power packed performance as lively ‘Biji” in the movie “VICKY DONOR’. Elderly couples attended the programme with zeal and anticipation for the cultural bonanza in its true spirit was a token of tribute to our Grandparents who are love personified for their grand children. Songs, dance and a mélange of colourful Holi songs filled the event with vivacity and magic.

Parents and Teachers are like rung of a ladder for the kids to climb to success in their lives. To acquaint the parents whose kids have joined Greenway recently, the school organized Orientation Day. The objective of the programme was to intimate parents about the methodologies and strategies the school has rigorously planned for the holistic development of their child. Dr. Aroona Broota , renowned psychologist graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Dr. Ravi Malik was eminent guest of honour, under the Aegis of Vice Principal, Mr. Tarun Sachdeva, the staff of Pre-Primary elaborated upon the strategy involved to teach and train kids for their coming academic years. A scintillating counseling session held by Dr. Aroona , brought the programme to a purpose served end.
