In alignment with CBSE’s directive and the Government of India’s Project Dolphin (launched on 15th August 2020), Greenwanians actively took part in spreading awareness about dolphin conservation through a series of impactful activities.
The initiative began with a Pledge Ceremony during the morning assembly, where students and teachers took a collective oath to protect and preserve dolphin habitats. Dolphin awareness videos were screened in junior classes, offering age-appropriate insights into the significance of riverine and marine dolphin species.
For wider participation, rallies were conducted within the school premises, with students carrying posters and raising slogans to emphasize the importance of biodiversity. Additionally, a painting competition was organized for Classes 6 to 8, where students gave powerful messages of marine life preservation through art.
These thoughtfully conducted events not only raised awareness but also encouraged students to become responsible and informed custodians of the environment.
