Class X students of Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden got an opportunity to attend a career counseling session by the renowned Counselor and gold medalist, Dr Anubhuti Sehgal. She was welcomed by Sr. Academic Coordinator Ms Anuja Jaitley, who explained to the students about the various streams & options available in class 11. The students were given the best guidance on how to choose an appropriate stream in class XI to get an appropriate career in the future. The students were enlightened to all the aspects of the best career building and different, interesting courses that Science, Commerce, and Arts students in their respective fields, can opt for. The students were also informed about the colleges/institutions and universities to get admission in the future. The students were encouraged to analyze their strength areas and interest in any particular field to build a fruitful and prosperous career. The questions and queries put up by the students were very well resolved and answered by Dr Anubhuti. It was a very instructive and edifying session. The vote of thanks was given by the Activity Coordinator.

Greenway Nursery School celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2023. At the preschool’s Christmas celebration, joy and excitement filled the air as little ones adorned in festive attire gathered for a day of merriment. The school was adorned with colorful decorations, twinkling lights, and handmade crafts that reflected the spirit of the season. Children engaged in cheerful activities, from crafting ornaments to singing heartwarming carols and dancing to Christmas songs. Santa Claus made a special appearance, bringing smiles and laughter as he distributed small gifts. The day concluded with children enjoying plum cakes to foster a sense of togetherness and create cherished memories for the youngest members of the community.

The anchoring was lively with enthusiastic students guiding the entrance through various activities. The Christmas carol performance brought a melodic charm to the celebration with its echoing classic tunes that resonated with the holiday season. It not only showcased the musical talents of the students but also marked the arrival of the holiday season with a melodious celebration. Vibrant dance performances by senior wing girls added a dynamic touch, showcasing the student’s creativity and festive energy. Students adorned in festive attire moved gracefully with the rhythm of cheerful holiday tunes. The nativity scene during Christmas was an excellent portrayal of the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. Students adorned in costumes representing biblical characters brought the narrative to life. Then respected Mrs. Anuja and Mrs. Jaishree ma'am shared their sentiments of compassion, gratitude, and joy. Morale and excitement of every student got a boost as the sound of jingling bells echoed throughout the assembly and with a hearty "Ho Ho Ho", Santa made a grand entrance in their iconic red suit. The day became a magical memory attached in the minds of the students as the holiday season began.

On 08 December '23, Friday, Greenway Modern School conducted a workshop for its teaching faculty on Cyber Safety and Security which was addressed by the AVP of KIIPS Learning Pvt. Ltd. and a vivacious speaker, Mr Salman.  The workshop was an eye-opener for all the participants. The striking and sensitive issues related to Social Networking, AI, etc. were discussed by the speaker. The dos and don'ts of the internet, the measures for Cyber Security, and other awareness topics were the main agenda of the workshop.  It was an intellectual and informative session. In the end, a vote of thanks by the school activity coordinator concluded the event.

The Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden organized a Peak Performance Mastery Session for the students of Class 12 Commerce. The resource person was welcomed by a Bouquet & potted plant Dr. Vikas Vijay, the renowned author of Together with Books, and Founder and CEO of Full Marks.
The session started by discussing the four pillars of success: Potential, Action, Belief, and Results.  Dr. Vikas discussed the CBSE Board 2024 Exam pattern and also gave guidance to study effectively and score marks to the best potential. He discussed the various strategies for reducing exam pressure and stress. He also enlightened the students through examples of great people and their theories to learn faster and easier.

This workshop has been a great opportunity for young students who want to achieve success not only in the upcoming exams but also in their future endeavors. Dr. Vikas fostered some crucial lessons in his session and made his listeners realize that hard work and confidence in one's abilities are the two most important things that help one to win the battle of life, be it in the exam hall, in the workplace, or any other field.

He inspired the students through interactive and exhilarating sessions. The students were deeply influenced and extended their gratitude to him and the Accountancy teacher, Mrs Neelam Gupta for providing the opportunity to perform the best. After the enriched workshop, the students felt confident and well-equipped to face the board exams and bring glory to their school and their mentors.

Greenway Modern School recently organized a Magic Show for students from Class 1 to 5.  The school premises were filled with laughter, amazement, and awe as our talented magician captivated the audience with a spellbinding performance. 

 From classic card tricks to mind-boggling illusions, the magic show had it all. The magician’s engaging and interactive style kept the children on the edge of their seats, fostering a sense of wonder and excitement.   The magical journey catered specifically to the age group, ensuring age-appropriate content that left everyone thoroughly entertained. The auditorium echoed with cheers and applause.   Such events play a crucial role in the holistic development of our students, offering them a break from routine studies and providing a platform for them to explore the world of creativity and imagination.    A heartfelt thank you to the teachers and of course, our talented magician, for making this magical extravaganza possible. We look forward to more such enchanting events that make learning a joyous and memorable experience for our students.

Greenway Modern School science stream students got the valuable opportunity to visit IIT Delhi's 16th Open House event on 4th November wherein the students gained real-life experience from professionals in all technology fields. The annual event showcased an extensive collection of innovative research, product development projects, and numerous advanced facilities and laboratories at the IIT to tech enthusiasts, students, and the general public. The event was inaugurated by Srijan Pal Singh wherein he shared his insightful experience with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, twins space missions of India: Chandrayaan 3 and Aditya L1, and Robotics for rural technology. The interactive demonstrations and original project displays helped enrich their knowledge and broadened their outlook on the various branches of science. This event inspired the next generation of innovators and served as a testament to the institution's role in shaping future technology and entrepreneurship.
