In celebration of Autism Awareness Month, the Psychology students of Classes XI and XII took a meaningful initiative to promote awareness, empathy, and inclusion within the school community. With the aim of fostering a more understanding and supportive environment, these students designed and conducted interactive awareness sessions for students of Classes III to VIII.

The sessions focused on helping younger students understand what autism is, how individuals on the autism spectrum may experience the world differently, and most importantly, how we can create an inclusive and respectful school environment. Through simple explanations, relatable examples, and engaging discussions, the senior students emphasized kindness, patience, and acceptance in everyday interactions.

In addition to the awareness sessions, students also showcased their creativity and commitment by designing informative and visually appealing bulletin boards across the school. These displays highlighted key facts about autism, broke common myths, and encouraged everyone to embrace differences with sensitivity and respect.

This initiative not only enhanced awareness among younger students but also provided an excellent opportunity for the Psychology students to apply their knowledge in a practical and impactful way. The activity reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing empathy, inclusivity, and social responsibility among its learners.
