Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School Celebrates Swachhata Pakhwada 2025
September 26, 2025

Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School, Dilshad Garden, successfully celebrated "Swachhata Pakhwada" today, September 26, 2025. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from our NCC cadets, who engaged in meaningful activities to promote cleanliness and awareness.

Activities:

- Best Out of Waste Competition: First-year NCC cadets showcased their creativity by creating innovative and eco-friendly models from recyclable materials. This activity not only promoted sustainability but also encouraged cadets to think outside the box.
- Poster Making Competition: Second-year NCC cadets displayed their artistic skills by creating impactful posters highlighting the importance of cleanliness and its relevance in our daily lives.

- All cadets participated with great zeal and enthusiasm, delivering speeches and taking pledges to uphold the values of cleanliness and hygiene.
- The event emphasized the significance of cleanliness and encouraged cadets to spread awareness in their respective societies.
- The cadets pledged to actively promote and practice cleanliness in their communities.

At Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School, we believe in fostering a sense of responsibility and community service among our students. The celebration of Swachhata Pakhwada is a step towards achieving this goal. We are proud of our NCC cadets for their active participation and commitment to promoting cleanliness and hygiene.

    Greenwanians outshined in the International Commerce Olympiad with Anya Singh (XII) securing 1st position , Sai Raman Panda (X) and Udar Sharma (IX) for securing a position.
    A Felicitation Ceremony was organized by Commerce Teachers Foundation (CTF) - ABHINANDAN 2025 to honour respective teachers Mrs Neelam Gupta (Accountancy) and Mrs Visheshtha Sharma (Business Studies) and ICO and ICT toppers and their teachers Komal Sharma, Alka Bhalla  ans Meenakshi  Moon.
    Dr Himanshu Gupta (IAS), CS, Mr Dhananjay Shukla (President ICSI), CA Dr. G. S. Grewal (Renowned Author and Educationist) were the chief guests at the felicitation ceremony held on 14th September 2025 at India International Center, Lodhi road, New Delhi.
    This Olympiad was organized in 22 states,  114 cities and more than 12,700 class XII students participated in this Olympiad. 
    Our students' and teachers' hard work finally paid off with students receiving 'Vanijya Shree Award' , certificate and cash prize. Our Greenwanians rocked this time as well.

      In honour of Sign Language Awareness Day, Greenway Modern School organised a heartfelt event to promote inclusivity and awareness about the importance of sign language. Students from classes 1 to 8 actively participated in a special performance of the national anthem in sign language, demonstrating their support for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.


      The event aimed to educate students about the significance of sign language as a powerful means of communication and to foster empathy and understanding among young minds. The participants, guided by their teachers, showcased their enthusiasm and dedication through their confident signing, making the occasion a memorable one for all.


      Greenway Modern School believes in nurturing compassionate citizens who appreciate diversity, and this celebration of Sign Language Awareness Day was a step toward building a more inclusive society. The event was a great success, inspiring students to continue learning and promoting sign language in their daily lives.

        When Leadership Inspires – Greenway Principal Honored with State Award
        Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden, Delhi Principal, Mr. Mohit Sachdeva, has been conferred with the Delhi State Principal Award 2024-25 on 5th September 2025 for his outstanding contribution to the field of education.
        The prestigious award was presented in a glittering ceremony at Tyagraj Stadium, where Mr. Sachdeva was felicitated by Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Delhi Chief Minister Ms. Rekha Gupta, Delhi Education Minister Shri Ashish Sood, and Delhi’s Education Director Ms. Veditha Reddy, in the presence of eminent dignitaries.
        He, has been widely acknowledged for his visionary leadership, innovative practices, and tireless dedication to the cause of education. Under his stewardship, Greenway School has achieved excellence not only in academics but also in co-curricular fields, shaping holistic and future-ready learners.
        The entire Greenway fraternity—teachers, students, and parents—expresses immense pride in this achievement, which stands as a collective milestone for the school.

          On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, a Drawing Competition was organized for the primary classes. The event was filled with excitement, colors, and creativity, as students from Classes 1 to 5 expressed their love, gratitude, and respect for their teachers through their artwork.The young artists showcased wonderful imagination and talent, making the event vibrant and joyful. All students participated with great enthusiasm, and the happiness on their faces reflected how much they enjoyed the competition.
