“Poem is the expression of feelings and ideas with rhythm and imagery”.
To enhance the creativity of students and to encourage them for
participation, Greenway Modern School has organized a poem recitation
competition with the heading ‘Rhyme and Chime’ for Class I students. It was an
inter-section competition,
This activity was organized to explore and encourage the speaking skills
and confidence in children. It inspired children to come forward and recite on
stage.
The students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. They recited
different poem on different topic like ‘I am a Tree’, ‘Moon and Stars’, ‘Earth
Day’ etc. with beautiful costumes and props, which made the listener
mesmerized. Though all the participants
were excellent and winners, but just to motivate them 1st, 2nd
and 3rd positions were declared. :-
