The Cleanliness endeavour started in Greenway Modern School with great enthusiasm and determination by the management and staff. 

There was a special screening for Classes I to V wherein 5 Video clips were shown to encouraged students regarding hygienic living and cleanliness and how important it is to keep ourselves and our surroundings clean. The session was very informative and helpful.

Aryan Sharma, the young story-teller from Class III-D, added a feather in the School’s cap, by winning the nation-wide story writing contest titled “Kahani Master” organized by Disney India and Toonz Animation.

The young and talented Aryan also loves painting and dancing, apart from having a natural flair for  weaving stories.  His story cast a spell on the creative team of Toonz India, who were spellbound at the magnitude of his creativity. Aryan conveyed the message of sacrifice and friendship through his story, which is unimaginably imaginative.

After winning the contest, he attended a three-day workshop organized by ‘Toonz” at Trivandrum. He learnt the art of creating the characters and making background designs, under the mentorship of  Prosenjit Ganguly – the well-known animation film designer of the country.

After attending the workshop, Aryan is now a lot more confident and is extremely elated. But the best reward is yet to come. Toonz  Animation, over the next three months, will convert his story into an animation film, which will be telecast on Disney Channel during January 2015. We wish him all the luck to go a long way.

It was a commendable spectacle for the audience when Greenway Modern School won the Net Ball Sub-junior Boys Zonal Level Competition.

The final match played between Arwachin International and Greenway Modern included many amazing moments and finally Greenway went on to beat Arwachin with a score of 14/8.

Under the guidance of the Coach Mr. Mukesh Sharma, the team led by Akshat the Captain, exhibited decisive promptness.  The other team members were Mayur, Yugansh, Yugul, Yahaya, Himanshu, Pulkit, Ryan, Prayas, Devanshu, Bhavishya and Akshit.

The Principal Sir- Mr. Mohit Sachdeva along with Manager Sir-Mr. Kamal Sachdeva and the Chairperson Ma’am- Mrs. Sudesh Sachdeva congratulated the team for their victorious performance.

Greenway Modern School won accolades by winning the Zonal Basket Ball Junior Boys Competition by beating Hansraj School 19/11.

The team played in deft motion skillfully and took advantage of the opportunities with brilliance.

Under the guidance of the Coach Mr. Mukesh Sharma, the team led by Shivek the Captain, displayed exceptional dynamism.  The other team members were: Achintya, Abhir, Jitin, Tathagat, Ranvir, Jatin, Utkarsh, Shivanshu, Rajat Gokul and Nikhil.

Greenway Modern School won the Zonal level Senior Boys Competition of Basketball by beating Hansraj School scores 26/16.

The team displayed exceptional determination by giving a tough competition to the other team and finally emerged triumphant.

Under the guidance of the Coach Mr. Mukesh Sharma, the team led by Bhuvan Puri the Captain, showcased spurt of energy and talent.  The other team members were: Bhaswar, Anil, Kunal, Vishesh, Vishnu, Ayush, Nilansh and Saksham.

The Teacher’s Day function at Greenway Modern School added sheen to the overall level of celebrations this year.  The programme commenced with a melodious collation of notes in a unique blend of rhythmic song.  As the cultural programme ensued,  the audience was mesmerized by the acting and dancing potential of the teachers. A dance drama stressing on the changing attributes of education was performed by the teachers amid a lot of cheering. Students also portrayed a dance reiterating the goals of a teacher; creating enlightened, empowered and responsible citizens. The students and teachers marveled everyone by showcasing myriad vistas and the main focus was on the changing role of teachers from knowledge givers to knowledge facilitators.

The function also witnessed Best Student Teacher awards and Best dressed Teacher’s awards.  The programme came to a closure by a vote of thanks proposed by the school Principal – Mr. Mohit Sachdeva who congratulated the teachers and emphasized the fact that teachers perform an enormous and balanced role in society.  The programme definitely reflected the nexus and zeal between the students and the teacher. 

The students of Class II at Greenway Modern School had the Fancy Dress Competition and the theme was Nature.  The children dressed up in various costumes of Mountain, Volcano, Rainbow, Tree, the list is endless and their narrations about nature made the audience clap continuously.   A short video clipping showing the importance of nature was also shown, followed by a Question Answer session after the competition.  Principal Sir, Mr. Mohit Sachdeva appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers.  The winners were :-
