Celebrating Childhood: A Special Assembly by Peace House
The school celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm through a special assembly organised under Peace House, led jointly by the middle and senior wing teachers.
The programme began with a serene atmosphere as the Middle Wing teachers conducted the Prayer, Thought for the Day, and News Headlines, setting a positive tone for the celebration. Following this, the Senior Wing teachers presented a beautifully arranged musical act, dedicated to the joy, innocence, and spirit of childhood. Their performance filled the environment with energy and emotion, making the young audience feel truly valued and special.
After the assembly, a variety of engaging in-class activities were conducted across all grades to make the day memorable and meaningful.
Students from Classes 1 to 5 participated in expressive tasks involving speaking, drawing, sharing their thoughts, and creating posters.
Students from Classes 6 to 10 worked on creative drawing themes that encouraged them to think about happiness, memories, and positivity.
In the senior secondary classes, Class 11 created visual reflections of their childhood memories, while Class 12 shared short personal reflections capturing their most cherished moments from childhood.
The celebration beautifully honoured the spirit of Children’s Day and reminded everyone of the joy, creativity, and uniqueness each child brings to the school. The dedicated efforts of all teachers under Peace House made the programme heartfelt, meaningful, and truly memorable for the students.
