Imbuing a passion for leading and preparing gesture pioneers, a nation’s future is written by its young children and they have their pens poised. Bestowing responsibilities and duties on the young shoulders is the best way to propagate invincible determination grit and courage to help steer success with this noble objective a grand Investiture ceremony was organized in Greenway Modern School on. Where the school Principal Mr. Mohit Sachdeva, and school Academic Coordinator Mrs. Anuja Jaitley conferred the badges to the members of the student guild. In addition to the badge, these young leaders were also given the sash and respective house flags which they held with pride and honor. Marching towards the stage, first came the House Captains, Head Boys and Head Girls, and then Secretaries.

    On 14th October 2025, certificates were distributed to the winners and participants of the Drawing Competition that was held earlier on 4th September 2025. The event was organized to encourage students’ creativity and artistic expression..Soumya Sachdeva Ma’am graciously handed over the certificates to the students and appreciated their efforts and imagination. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement as the winners received their certificates with pride.The event served as a wonderful motivation for students to continue exploring their artistic talents and participate in more such creative activities in the future.

      🌟 “Sky Lit” – A Diwali Exhibition & Sale Illuminating Hearts with Kindness
      Greenway Modern Sr. Sec. School organized its much-awaited Diwali Exhibition & Sale – “Sky Lit” on Saturday, 18th October 2025, at the school’s Badminton Court. The event beautifully reflected the school’s vision of nurturing not just creativity but also compassion among students.

      The exhibition-cum-sale served as a platform for students from Classes I to XII to showcase their artistic talents and innovative ideas. The vibrant display included handmade candles by the youngest learners, intricately crafted decorative items, and eco-friendly Diwali creations. Each item radiated the enthusiasm and hard work of the students, who participated wholeheartedly to make the event a grand success.The initiative was an endeavour to instill the values of sharing, caring, and charity, aligning with the true spirit of Diwali — spreading light and happiness to those in need. The proceeds from the exhibition were dedicated to supporting three NGOs — PANAM, RASTA, and NANE PAKSHI. The students took immense pride in contributing to this noble cause, understanding the joy that comes from giving.The presence of the special guests — students from the associated NGOs — added warmth and meaning to the celebration. The atmosphere was filled with festive cheer, empathy, and a strong sense of community spirit as students, teachers, and parents came together for this meaningful cause.The “Sky Lit” exhibition truly embodied the school’s motto of holistic education — fostering creativity, compassion, and social responsibility among students. It was a heartwarming celebration of light, love, and learning — a reminder that when we share our light, the world shines brighter.

        The Junior Wing celebrated the festival of lights — Diwali — with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration began with a melodious choir performance that filled the atmosphere with festive spirit. This was followed by a beautiful depiction of the Ramayan, presented by the tiny tots of Classes I to V. The young students brought alive the characters and scenes with great energy and innocence, making the performance truly delightful.

        After the function, an Anti-Cracker Rally was organized to spread the message of celebrating a safe and eco-friendly Diwali. The students held banners and chanted slogans, encouraging everyone to avoid bursting crackers and to celebrate responsibly.Each class also participated in creative festive activities such as Rangoli making, mix nuts preparation, and Diwali card making. The classrooms were beautifully decorated by the students, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. The entire school echoed with happiness and festive cheer, making it a memorable celebration for all.

          he Senior Wing celebrated the festival of lights — Diwali — with great zeal and devotion. The celebration commenced with a soulful choir performance that set the tone for the auspicious occasion. This was followed by a graceful depiction of various Mata and Devis, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the divine power of positivity. The students of Classes VI to XII presented an impressive enactment, showcasing their talent, confidence, and understanding of cultural traditions.An Oath Ceremony was also conducted, where students pledged to celebrate a clean, green, and safe Diwali by saying no to crackers and promoting harmony and care for the environment.To add to the festive spirit, a Rangoli Competition was organized, where students showcased their creativity and artistic skills through beautiful and vibrant designs, spreading colours of joy and positivity all around.

            The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in Greenway Nursery School on 15th October,2025. The school premises were beautifully decorated with diyas, candles, and colourful rangolis, creating a bright and festive atmosphere. Children came dressed in vibrant traditional attire, adding charm and colour to the celebration.The day began with teachers explaining the significance of Diwali — the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. Children actively participated in various fun-filled activities such as diya and candle decoration, paper lantern making, and rangoli art. Their creativity and excitement lit up the day. A highlight of the celebration were beautiful dance performances by the little ones, which filled the environment with festive spirit and joy. One of the Pre Primary student also recited the Hanuman Chalisa, spreading divine energy and positivity all around. The celebration concluded with children wishing each other a “Happy Diwali.” The event helped our little ones understand the importance of celebrating festivals together, spreading happiness, and cherishing the values of love, sharing, and togetherness.

              To instill good eating habits and basic etiquette among young learners, a Table Manners Activity was organized in the Pre-School. The little ones participated with great enthusiasm and excitement. The teachers demonstrated how to sit properly at the table, use a napkin, chew food with their mouths closed, and say “please” and “thank you” while requesting or receiving food. Children enjoyed a fun, interactive session where they learned the importance of cleanliness, sharing, and respecting food. Through this activity, the children not only learned essential table manners but also understood the value of being polite and well-behaved while eating. It was a delightful experience that combined learning with enjoyment, helping the little ones develop good social habits in a joyful and engaging way.
