Blue Colour Week Celebration in Pre-School

Blue Colour Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement in our pre-school to help children recognize and explore the colour blue. The boards were beautifully decorated with blue-themed objects, balloons, and artwork to set the tone for the week. Children came dressed in various shades of blue and brought along their favourite blue toys and items. A range of fun-filled activities were conducted throughout the week including blue painting and creative craft work. Storytelling sessions based on the colour blue added to the joy and learning. The celebration helped the young learners enhance their colour recognition skills and connect colours to the world around them. The week was not just colourful but also a memorable learning experience for our little ones.

    A wonderful Magic Show was organized at Greenway Modern School on 19th July for the students of Class 4th. The event was conducted in collaboration with Hindustan Times, and it brought great excitement and joy to the young learners.

    The magician, Mr. Krishan Gopal, amazed the children with a variety of fascinating magic tricks. From making objects disappear and reappear to pulling colorful ribbons from thin air, each trick left the students wide-eyed and full of curiosity. One of the highlights was when Mr. Krishna invited a few students on stage and made them part of the show, making the experience even more interactive and fun.

    The school auditorium was filled with laughter, claps, and awe as the children thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the performance. It was not only entertaining but also sparked the imagination and creativity of the students.

    The event concluded with a thank you note from the school to Hindustan Times for organizing such a delightful and memorable event. A special thanks was also given to Magician Krishan Gopal for spreading smiles and wonder among the little ones.

    It was truly a magical day for the students of Class 4th!

      Tree plantation drives were carried out by Greenway Modern School within the school premises as part of an Eco Club initiative to promote environmental awareness and greenery. The activity was guided by the active involvement of the following teachers: Ms. Charu, Ms. Deepa, Ms. Renu, Ms. Jaishree, and Ms. Anuja.

      As part of the drive, a diverse range of flora was planted, which included a thoughtful mix of herbs, shrubs, and trees.

      Among the herbs, Moringa and Patharchatta were planted for their medicinal and ecological benefits.

      The shrubs included 5 saplings of Harsingar, Mogra plant, Vernonia (Sugar Plant), 2 bushes of Mehndi, 2 flowering plants of Bougainvillea, 

      2 plants of Tikoma, Dubia plant, all known for their ornamental value and positive impact on biodiversity.

      In the tree category, 2 saplings of Amaltas, 2 Arjun trees, Baheda tree, Imli tree, 2 Nimbu (lemon) trees were planted, contributing to long-term shade, fruit, and ecological balance.

      This plantation drive served as a practical step toward environmental conservation and sustainability. The initiative helped foster a deeper sense of responsibility and connection with nature among the school community.

          GREAT ACHIEVEMENT BY GREENWANIANS

          We are pleased to share that Mohd. Ayaman (Class IX–A) and Rakshit (Class IX–C) have secured the Second Position in the Class IX–XII category at the Atal Tinker Fest, organized by Sneh International School on 18th July 2025.


          This achievement reflects their innovative spirit and talent. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mohd. Ayaman, Rakshit, and their mentor, Mr. Subrat Mishra, on this remarkable accomplishment.

          We also take this opportunity to appreciate the outstanding projects presented by Sai Santosh and Tribhuvan of Class X–F, which received high praise at the event.

            Greenway Modern School organized a series of engaging and awareness-driven activities on 18th July 2025 for students of Classes VIII, IX, and X. The central theme of these activities was the prevention and control of vector-borne diseases, specifically Dengue, Chikungunya, and Malaria. The initiative aimed to educate students about these serious health threats while promoting creativity and active participation in the learning process.

            Students of Class VIII took part in a poem recitation activity, where they composed and recited original poems highlighting the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures related to mosquito-borne diseases. The performances reflected not only poetic expression but also a strong grasp of the scientific and social aspects of disease prevention.

            Class IX students participated in a slogan writing competition. They crafted impactful and thought-provoking slogans that conveyed strong messages about the importance of hygiene, eliminating mosquito breeding grounds, and adopting preventive measures. The slogans were judged for their creativity, clarity, and relevance to the theme.

            For Class X, a poster-making activity was organized, where students created visually appealing posters on the same theme. The posters showcased their artistic abilities and scientific understanding, emphasizing key points such as cleanliness, early diagnosis, personal protection, and community awareness. Many students incorporated slogans, facts, and illustrations that effectively conveyed the importance of combating vector-borne diseases.

            The activities achieved their objective of enhancing awareness and encouraging responsible behavior among students. They provided a platform for students to express themselves while deepening their understanding of health and hygiene. The initiative also fostered teamwork, creativity, and communication skills, making the learning experience both meaningful and enjoyable.
            The students were also made aware to wear uniform comprising of full sleeves and use mosquito repellants to avoid mosquito bites.


            The Principal of the school appreciated the initiative taken by the students & teachers and said that such activities not only enrich the academic environment but also empower students to contribute positively to community health.

              Table Manners Activity – Pre-Primary (16.07.25)

              To help our little learners develop good habits early on, a Table Manners Activity was organized for the Pre-Primary children. The activity aimed to introduce basic dining etiquette in a fun and interactive way. Children were guided on how to sit properly at the table, use a napkin, chew with their mouth closed, say “please” and “thank you,” and how to wait for their turn while serving or being served. Teachers demonstrated correct behaviour during a pretend play meal setup, which the children enthusiastically followed. Using role play the children learned about polite conversation at the table and the importance of cleanliness before and after meals. This engaging session not only made learning table manners enjoyable but also encouraged children to practice these habits at home, helping them grow into thoughtful and well-mannered individuals.

                World Zoonoses Day Awareness

                Our school recently observed World Zoonoses Day, raising awareness about diseases that can be transmitted between animals and humans. Students from various classes participated in activities throughout the week (July 6th-12th).

                -  students performed role-plays on zoonotic diseases, highlighting causes, symptoms, and prevention methods.
                - Students created informative charts, posters, and participated in group discussions and presentations.
                - Physical activities like games and quizzes helped students learn about zoonotic diseases in a fun 
                The celebration was a huge success, with enthusiastic participation from students. It raised awareness about zoonotic diseases and promoted a sense of responsibility among students to prevent their spread.


                The Principal emphasized the importance of:

                - Organizing awareness activities and events
                - Encouraging students to share their knowledge with families and communities
                - Collaborating with local health organizations for more resources and expertise

                The awareness campaign was indeed a huge success, educating students, teachers, and everyone involved!

                    Welcome Back to School!

                    The first day of school reopening at Greenway Nursery School on 7th July,2025, was filled with excitement, laughter, and joyful faces as we welcomed our little stars back to their second home.Teachers and staff greeted the students warmly, spreading smiles all around.To make the day extra special, each child was presented with a colorful welcome card reminding them how much they were missed and how wonderful it was to have them back. The cards brought big smiles to the children’s faces and made them feel loved and cherished.The school corridors came alive once again with happy chatter, bright eyes, and eager hearts ready for a new beginning. It was truly a heartwarming sight to see the school buzzing with energy, hope, and togetherness.
