Our school organized a series of events and activities to promote the practice and importance of yoga among students. The celebrations included:

Class-wise Activities:
- Class 1 & 2: Practiced Sukhasana and Vajrasana, wrote paragraphs on "Why I Like Doing Yoga," and participated in slogan writing.
- Class 3 to 5: Practiced Padmasana and Balasana, wrote paragraphs on "Yoga and My Health," and participated in slogan writing.
- Class 6 to 8: Practiced Tadasana and Vrikshasana, wrote paragraphs on "Importance of Yoga in Daily Life," and participated in slogan writing.
- Class 9 & 10: Practiced Bhujangasana, Paschimottanasana, and Sarvangasana, wrote paragraphs on "Yoga: A Natural Way to Good Health," and participated in slogan writing.
- Class 11 & 12: Practiced Halasana and Trikonasana, wrote paragraphs on "Yoga: A Holistic Path to Wellness," and participated in slogan
- Yoga Quiz: A quiz was conducted to test students' knowledge about yoga.
- NCC Cadets: Demonstrated their skills by performing yoga asanas during the celebrations.


The celebrations were a great success, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the practice of yoga among students and staff. The Principal commended the efforts put forth by both students and teachers and encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

    To celebrate Father's Day and express gratitude towards fathers for their love, support, and guidance.

    Students from various classes of Greenway Modern School participated in different activities to honor their fathers:

    - Class 1-3: Created artwork, drawings, and handmade cards expressing love and appreciation for their fathers.
    - Class 4-6: Recorded audio/video messages, wrote letters, and created acrostic poems to thank their fathers.
    - Class 7-9: Made photo collages, wrote about life lessons learned from their fathers, and created video messages.
    - Class 10-12: Designed quote posters, conducted mini-interviews with their fathers, and wrote open letters or spoken-word poems.


    The activities helped students reflect on the importance of their fathers in their lives and express their gratitude in creative ways. The event fostered a sense of appreciation and love for fathers.

    Father's Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, and students showcased their creativity and gratitude towards their fathers. The event highlighted the significance of fatherly love and support in shaping the lives of children.


    The Principal of the school appreciated the efforts of Teachers and Students who made the Father's day a special .

      To raise awareness about environmental conservation and promote sustainable practices among students, while celebrating World Environment Day and participating in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative the students of GREENWAY MODERN SCHOOL actively participated in various activities enthusiastically.

      - Class I: Students drew pictures of their favorite animals or plants and wrote a few lines on "I love nature."
      - Class II: Nature Hunt - Students collected and documented various natural items, such as leaves, flowers, and twigs, and gave them funny names.
      - Class III: Tree Collage - Students created 3D trees using recycled materials like paper, twigs, and dried leaves.
      - Class IV: Earth-Friendly Promises - Students made leaf cutouts and wrote eco-promises, such as "I will reduce, reuse, and recycle."
      - Class V: Eco-Friendly Crafts - Students created crafts using recyclable materials like buttons, newspapers, and old pens.
      - Class VI: Eco Awareness - Students interviewed helpers about environmental awareness and took notes.
      - Class VII: Eco Art & Poetry - Students wrote poems and created artwork on environmental themes, such as pollution and conservation.
      - Class VIII: Eco Heroes - Students researched nature warriors and their achievements.
      - Class IX: Sustainable Living Tips - Students researched and wrote speeches on sustainable practices.
      - Class X: Eco Challenge - Students took up eco-challenges, such as reducing plastic use, and maintained journals.
      - Class XI & XII: Our Environment, Our Policies - Students researched international environmental policies


      - Students created posters on environmental themes, such as climate change, conservation, and sustainability.
      - Students wrote slogans, such as "Save Earth, Save Future" and "Go Green, Breathe Clean.
      - Students planted trees in school and at home and uploaded photos on the official website.
      - Students received certificates for their participation in the initiative.
      - Raised awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable practices among students.
      - Encouraged students to take eco-friendly actions and develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
      - Fostered creativity and critical thinking through poster making, slogan writing, and eco-challenges.


      World Environment Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, promoting environmental awareness and action among students. The "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative was a huge success, with students actively participating and receiving certificates. The event highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.
